Love Island star Konnor Ewudzi has undergone an FUE hair transplant at British Hair Clinic in Essex with hair restoration surgeon Dr Zabeeh.
Konnor, who appeared on series 11 of Love Island before returning for Love Island: All Stars, became known for his long dreadlocks. After wearing his hair tied back for years, Konnor noticed his hairline was starting to recede and decided it was time to do something about it.
Why Now?
Over time, Konnor became more aware of changes to his hairline and decided to explore his options to restore it.
“I had dreads for years. I had them in my first Love Island stint when I had long dreadlocks tied up a lot. I think it was wearing it up that put tension in the front and pulled on it quite a bit, and that’s where I noticed my hairline dissolving.”
Rather than accepting the change, Konnor decided to take action and booked a consultation at British Hair Clinic.

“Honestly, the way I see it is girls get their boobs done, they get Botox, they get hair extensions. Why shouldn’t men get a hair transplant? Why is it so taboo? I genuinely don’t understand the negative connotations involved.”
The Procedure
Ahead of his hair transplant, Konnor shaved off his signature hairstyle, which was a dramatic change in appearance.
Although he works as a barber and understands hair well, he admitted he still felt nervous before the procedure.
“Being a barber myself, I know quite a bit about hair, but I didn’t know how it was going to go and was a bit nervous before I went in.”
